El Cid La Ceiba Resort

I love having a timeshare! This place is beautiful, and way outside of our usual travel budget . It's got a full kitchen, 2 bathrooms, separate bedroom and living area (each with it's own TV, so Manuel's happy), and best of all, an ocean view balcony off each room.

So, we woke up, had coffee on the balcony, then went for a swim. What a way to start the day! Not too many fish (did get stung by some jelly fish I didn't see), but the water was perfect, warm and clear. Then we walked into town, just to check it out and get a few more groceries - pretty, but hot, 40 minute walk, all along the ocean. Back to the hotel for our "Welcome Package"- free drinks, and games. Silly, but kinda fun. We actually participated in one game- a balloon popping contest- and won a 24 hour Jeep rental! Great ending to a great day...
