Seattle / Bainbridge Island
When an opportunity to housesit on Bainbridge Island came up, I jumped on it. Bainbridge Island is in Puget Sound - a beautiful island 5 miles wide and 10 miles long, population 23,000, and a 35 minute ferry ride from Seattle - perfect for a nice retreat, and a great way to visit Petra (now living in Seattle), and explore Seattle. The house was great - we were responsible for 5 chickens (fresh eggs every day - I'll not get my cholesterol checked for a while), 2 domesticated cats, and 2 semi feral outdoor only cats. And a ton of plants!
