Angel Fish

As I hung out snorkeling, just watching, I saw that these two fish were hanging out together. So, I looked it up- angel fish are monogamous! How cool is that?

Snorkel Trip

Off on a snorkel trip on a catamaran to Columbia and Palancar reefs, then lunch at a water park. The captain had an unusual way of steering...

There was a thunderstorm while we were in the water- you could see the flash of lightning under the water, then hear the incredibly loud thunder. Although everyone was thinking it, only one person actually asked "Is this safe?" But nobody cared, because it was amazing.
We saw lots of cool fish and beautiful coral, followed turtles....Dive master kept having to call people back, as we all scrambled around trying to see it all...

Waterpark was great- trampolines, slides- We got to try paddleboards, fun...
Another great day in paradise.....

Timeshare Talk

I know everyone is against the Timeshare Talk- but we like them. I like looking at different resorts, and since I'm a timeshare owner, I like knowing what's happening in the market. And we love a buffet breakfast in Mexico. We had chilaquiles, picadillo, watermelon juice, melon juice...Yummm. So, besides the buffet, we got 2 for 1 on a snorkel trip, taxi fare from the hotel to the ferry (and back), ferry crossing to/from Playa del Carmen, and transportation to the newest El Cid Resort, which was pretty far from the ferry. The best part was, we were with a really sweet rep from our hotel (Miriam), who knew we weren't interested in buying another timeshare, so we just chatted about living in Mexico. She was great. On the way back, we had a chance to explore Playa del Carmen, before heading back to Cozumel. Stopped at the supermarket to pick up dinner (albondigas) before getting the taxi home.
